  • Define and execute a comprehensive test automation strategy aligned with project objectives, delivery timelines, and quality goals.
  • Architect and develop scalable, reusable automation frameworks across web, mobile, API, and system integration layers.
  • Embed automation within Agile and DevOps workflows, enabling seamless CI/CD pipeline integration.
  • Establish best practices and standards for test script development, code quality, reviews, and reusability.
  • Lead the design, development, execution, and ongoing maintenance of automated test suites for internet and mobile banking platforms.
  • Drive automation coverage across functional, regression, API, performance, and security testing.
  • Integrate automation tools and frameworks into build, deployment, and release pipelines.
  • Manage automation environments, test data strategies, and continuous test validation processes.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of automation engineers across onshore, offshore, internal, and external teams.
  • Work closely with QA Leads, Developers, DevOps Engineers, and Business Analysts to embed automation throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Engage business and technology stakeholders by reporting on automation coverage, progress, effectiveness, and ROI.

Quality & Risk Assurance

  • Ensure automation frameworks meet banking-grade security, compliance, and regulatory standards.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize manual testing through automation to improve speed, quality, and efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement by evaluating and adopting new automation tools, frameworks, and technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of QA experience, including at least 3 years in an Automation Lead or similar role.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in API testing using tools such as Postman or Karate.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
  • Strong programming or scripting skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar languages.
  • Experience working with banking or financial services systems, particularly internet and mobile banking applications.
  • ISTQB Test Automation Engineer, Certified SDET, or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
  • Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack) is an advantage.
  • Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) and security testing frameworks is preferred.
  • Familiarity with corporate banking products such as cash management, payments, FX, and trade finance is a plus.
