Senior M&E Project Manager
About this job
Key Responsibilities:
Take overall ownership of M&E project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Lead and coordinate MEP systems, including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, ACMV, ELV, and other critical building services.
Drive the full project lifecycle from design coordination and installation through testing, commissioning, and final handover.
Manage and coordinate M&E consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Review and oversee M&E design development, technical submissions, shop drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
Identify and resolve technical challenges, site issues, design clashes, and project risks to maintain smooth project progress.
Monitor project schedules, manpower, resources, materials, and costs while ensuring key milestones are achieved.
Lead testing, commissioning, inspection, and troubleshooting of M&E systems to ensure full functionality and compliance with project requirements.
Ensure all M&E works comply with relevant codes, statutory requirements, safety standards, and industry best practices.
Work closely with clients, consultants, authorities, and project teams to drive effective communication and successful project delivery.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to project engineers and M&E team members.
Support project tendering, cost evaluation, variation works, and commercial discussions where required.
Requirements
Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
Strong knowledge of MEP, Fire Protection, ACMV, ELV, plumbing, electrical, and other building services systems.
Proven experience managing M&E design, installation, testing, commissioning, and overall project delivery.
Strong project management, coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Able to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple project priorities effectively.
Strong understanding of project schedules, technical documentation, quality control, and site coordination.
