FULL-TIME SECURITY SUPERVISOR

The Role

We arelooking for a responsible and experienced Security Supervisor to oversee dailysecurity operations and supervise a team of Security Officers.

Thesuccessful candidate will play an important role in maintaining a safe andsecure environment for members, guests, staff and the Club's premises.

KeyResponsibilities :

  • Oversee daily security operations and ensure the security post/guard house is properly manned.
  • Supervise and guide the team of Security Officers to ensure duties are carried out effectively.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents, fire alarms and emergencies, and investigate disturbances when required.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the Club's grounds, buildings and designated areas to detect signs of intrusion or other irregularities.
  • Monitor CCTV surveillance and take appropriate action on suspicious or unusual activities.
  • Monitor and control access to restricted areas.
  • Operate electrical and manual car park barriers as required.
  • Verify and authorize entry of Club members and their bona fide guests in accordance with security procedures.
  • Ensure all security equipment and inventory are properly accounted for and maintained in good working condition.
  • Maintain proper records and reports of security incidents and unusual occurrences.
  • Report incidents involving the Police, Ambulance, SCDF/fire services, or damage to Club facilities to the Executive (Security) and Manager (Facilities).
  • Carry out other security-related duties as assigned

Requirements :

  • Minimum Secondary School education.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Security Supervisor or Senior Security Officer, preferably in a club, hospitality, residential, commercial or similar environment.
  • Valid PLRD Security Supervisor Grade licence is required.
  • Possess the relevant WSQ/NSRS Security certifications in accordance with the Progressive Wage Model (PWM) requirements.
  • Candidates should have completed the relevant core modules, including:
  • Handle Security Incidents and Services
  • Provide Guard and Patrol Services
  • Manage Disorderly Conduct and Threatening Behaviour
  • Operate Basic Security Equipment
  • Supervise Security Officers
  • Handle Counter-Terrorism Activities
  • Good communication, observation and incident-handling skills.
  • Responsible, alert and able to remain calm when handling security incidents.
  • Able to work independently as well as lead and supervise a team.

AdditionalInformation:

  • 6-day work week (Work 6 days, Off 2days) (Potentially change to Work 4 days, Off 3 days)
  • Rotating shifts: 8:00 am to 2:45 pm / 2:45 pm to 10:15 pm / 10:15 pm to 8:00 am (Potentially change to 12 hours shift – 8:00am to 8:00pm / 8:00pm to 8:00am)
  • Monthly laundry allowance provided
  • Shift & meal allowances provided for 10:15 pm shift
  • Staff transport will be provided at Tanah Merah MRT station
