Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Wholesale (Building materials)
• Position Title: Quantity Surveyor
• Working Location: Tuas
• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon-Fri: 9.00am - 6.00pm, Sat: 9.00am - 1.00pm)
• Salary Package: Basic salary up to $4,500 + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and quantity take-offs.
• Source quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare tender submissions, cost comparisons, and pricing proposals.
• Monitor project costs and expenses.
• Review claims, invoices, and payment applications.
• Coordinate with sales, procurement, logistics, and project teams.
• Prepare variation orders, progress claims, and final accounts.
• Maintain contracts, quotations, purchase orders, and project records.
• Liaise with customers, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Prepare cost reports for management review.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, tendering, or contract administration.
• Experience in construction, building materials, engineering, or related industry is advantageous.
• Able to read drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Familiar with tendering, costing, and procurement processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
