Director of Investment and Portfolio Analytics

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio

• Prepare analysis for the investment; pre-trade and post-trade
• Maintain gross and net exposure of the investment
• Monitor trade implementation
• Managing a complete audit trail of investment

Private Bank

• Manage day-to-day relationships with private banks
• Negotiate better commercial term for company

Regulatory Filling

• Maintain a regulatory filling calendar covering all the Singapore Government requirement
• Maintain record of regulatory advice
  

Investment Reporting

• Build and maintain reporting of investment
• Design and implement control for report
• Coordinate with accountants, auditors and tax advised for year end reporting

Singapore Family Office/Fund Tax Incentive Support

• Prepare and maintain record for investment, portfolio, research
• Prepare documentation required for Singapore fund tax incentive compliance
• Liase with Singapore Tax Advisers to ensure documentation consistent with the family office's fund tax incentive framework

Requirement

• 10-15+ years of relevant experience in portfolio analytics

• Strong understanding of public-market instruments including listed equities, ETFs, listed options, ADRs, cash management, margin financing, portfolio margin, private bank custody structures and broker reportingExperience working with private banks, brokers, custodians, prime brokers or external asset managers
• Highly detail-oriented, commercially strong with banks and brokers, discreet and trustworthy, disciplined in documentation, and able to build institutional-quality processes in a lean family office environment
• Familiarity with Singapore family office structures, 13O / 13U fund tax incentive frameworks, MAS-facing documentation or fund administration preferred

• Proficiency in English required; additional language skills advantageous, in order to liaise with different stakeholders
