Assistant Manager - FP&A & Group Consolidation

Role
We are seeking an experienced FP&A & Group Consolidation professional to play a key role in driving financial planning, performance analysis and group reporting. The role will lead budgeting and forecasting, provide meaningful financial insights to support management decision-making, and oversee the Group's consolidation and financial reporting processes.
Job Scope
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning.
- Prepare monthly management and Board reporting, including financial analysis and KPI reporting.
- Develop financial models and provide business insights to support strategic decisions.
- Partner with business units to drive profitability and cost optimisation.
Group Consolidation & Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual group consolidations in accordance with SFRS/IFRS.
- Review subsidiary submissions, manage intercompany eliminations and consolidation adjustments.
- Support statutory reporting, audits and compliance with accounting standards.
Strategic Projects
- Support M&A activities including financial due diligence, valuation and post-merger integration.
- Participate in ERP implementation, finance transformation and process improvement initiatives.
- Undertake ad-hoc financial analysis and strategic projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Professional Certification: CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent required. CFA is a distinct advantage.
Experience
6–8 years of relevant experience in FP&A, group consolidation and financial reporting, preferably with experience in a Group setting.
- Big 4 audit and M&A experience is an advantage.
- ERP implementation or finance transformation experience is desirable.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of SFRS/IFRS and consolidation accounting.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting/consolidation tools.
- Power BI or Tableau experience is an advantage.
