Doctor - (General Practitioner)

Mediway Medical Centre is a healthcare establishment that offers GP+ medical services. The facility operates as an intermediary between health screening and specialized care, providing an extensive array of services that may exceed the scope of standard general practitioners. Special areas of focus include men’s health, women’s health, screening for sexually transmitted diseases, weight management, hair loss treatment, and statutory medical examination services.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough medical examinations and assessments of patients.
• Provide Pre-employment checkups and other statutory examinations.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and common medical conditions.
• Prescribe appropriate medications, treatments, and therapies based on the diagnosis.
• Provide preventive care, including vaccinations, health screenings/reviews, and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices.
• Set up required return visits for patients for follow-ups to ensure patients' chronic conditions are being well taken care of.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and self-care techniques.
• Stay informed about the latest medical research, advancements, and best practices through continuous education and professional development.
• Adhere to medical ethics, standards of practice, and legal requirements.

Requirements:

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Full Registration with the Singapore Medical Council.
