Consumer Banking Business Development Manager

Job Responsibilities:

1. Conduct market analysis and develop customer engagement strategies to identify growth opportunities across local and cross-border banking segments.
2. Drive business growth through strategic initiatives, marketing campaigns and ecosystem partnerships.
3. Develop and manage strategic partnerships to expand customer acquisition channels and enhance the Bank’s value proposition.
4. Plan and execute customer engagement programmer to strengthen customer relationships, improve customer experience and increase product adoption.
5. Identify opportunities to enhance customer journeys, service propositions and digital engagement across key customer segments.
6. Collaborate with branches, product, operations and external partners to deliver customer-centric initiatives and strategic projects, external parties such as China embassy services, Chinese associations, chambers of commerce, overseas institutional customers.
7. Monitor market trends, customer insights and business performance, and recommend strategies to drive business growth and service excellence.
8. Prepare business reports, management presentations and performance analysis to support business planning and decision-making.
9. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies while achieving departmental objectives.
10. Well-versed in retail banking products and services, with the ability to develop and enhance the retail branch service environment to improve customer experience.

Requirement:

1. Bachelor Degree and above from recognized university.
2. 1 years and above experience in financial services, business analysis, product development, financial management.
3. Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills, with proficient oral and written communication skills in English and Mandarin in order to provide service to Chinese language speaking customers.
4. Professional and skillful in data management, can translate insight into action.
5. Ability to meet timelines, prioritize business needs and manage multiple projects.
6. Ownership of results and commitment to goals, highly independent and self-motivated, should be able to work with minimum supervision.
7. Candidate who has service experience with VIP customers in other banks will be highly preferred.
