The Industrial Engineering Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing production layouts to ensure efficient use of space, resources, and workflows. This role will also cover broader Industrial Engineering functions such as process improvement, productivity enhancement, and cost reduction initiatives.

Production Layout & Optimization
- Design and implement efficient production floor layouts.
- Conduct time and motion studies to improve workflow and reduce bottlenecks.
- Optimize material flow, equipment placement, and workspace utilization.
Process Improvement
- Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and quality.
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Apply lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste.
Capacity & Resource Planning
- Conduct capacity analysis to support production planning.
- Recommend manpower allocation and equipment utilization strategies.
- Support factory expansion or reconfiguration projects.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare reports and dashboards for management decision-making.
- Monitor KPIs such as productivity, cycle time, and space utilization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams.
- Support new product introduction by designing layouts and processes.
- Provide technical guidance to supervisors and operators.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience on Industrial Engineering role or related field.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, ergonomics, and process optimization.
- Proficiency in CAD tools for layout design (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Visio).
- Analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with simulation software (e.g., FlexSim, Arena).
- Knowledge of Six Sigma or Kaizen methodologies.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
- Project management experience in manufacturing environments.
