Job Description & Requirements

  1. Conducts field inspections and verifies conformance to approved specifications.
  2. Inspects the installation of products such as AHUs, etc.
  3. Prepares and reviews documents for project close-out requirements.
  4. Conduct in-house orientation on company policies and procedures to employees in preparation for their incorporation into the company.
  5. Supervise the implementation of the punch list (balance of works) issued by the client to conform to the established client standards and specifications.
  6. Prepare QC inspection reports and monthly accomplishment reports.
  7. Proper checklists and progress reports must be generated.
  8. Conduct line checking on installed items, issue punch list, and verify accomplishment before endorsement for testing.
  9. Conduct pre-qualification of welders for pipe welding works.
  10. Inspect installation of fans and blowers, including pre-fabrication and initial testing.
  11. Prepare inspection reports for accepted and rejected activities.
  12. Conduct receiving inspection on critical materials before installation.
  13. Attend coordination meetings and address problems concerning installation problems.
  14. Generate Non-conformance reports for activities not conforming to project specifications and monitor detailed action plans for close-out.
  15. Prepare and maintain the quality manual for the organisation.
  16. Generate work instructions and company procedures for use by the organisation and submission to the client.
  17. Conduct and prepare analysis of generated NCRs, complaints, and audit results.
  18. Arrange with third-party inspectors for necessary testing.
  19. Implement the quality system for the project.
  20. Arrange materials documentation requirements and submit to Client Inspection Department for acceptance.
  21. Prepare Quality Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) for submission to clients.
  22. Review Mill Test Certificates. (For Production Related Works only).
  23. Setting QA compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved.
  24. Maintaining awareness of the business context and company profitability, including budgetary control issues.
  25. Assessing the product specifications of the company and its suppliers, and comparing with customer requirements.
  26. Working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.
  27. Considering the application of environmental and health and safety standards.
  28. Agreeing standards and establishing clearly defined quality methods for staff to apply.
  29. Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff.
  30. Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures.
  31. Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessary.
  32. Supervising technical staff in carrying out tests and checks.
  33. Bringing together staff of different disciplines and driving the group to plan, formulate and agree comprehensive quality procedures.
  34. Persuading reluctant staff to change their way of working to incorporate quality methods.
  35. All QC items must be reported to the Operations manager.
  36. Establishing standards of service for customers or clients.
  37. Establish and define Standards and procedures of development requirements for the Product.
  38. Formulate, implement and review work procedures to ensure effectiveness and efficiency to meet quality requirements.
  39. Evaluate according to ISO requirements and actively provide constructive feedback to the development team.
  40. Establish and maintain high-quality test procedures and methods to be used in present and future software and hardware testing and development that comply with the company quality standards and deliverables.
  41. Prepare the requirements for components and/or assembled parts for incoming inspections.
  42. Oversee quality tests and qualify the release of products at the manufacturing side.
  43. Oversee the resolution of quality-related problems in the development and manufacturing environment resulting from supply or production imperfections.

REQUIREMENT

1. Diploma in a Mechanical Engineering-related discipline

2. At least 2 years of related work experience in quality control

3. Good office coordination skills and interpersonal skills.

4. Independent and resourceful.

5. Knowledgeable in ISO document preparation.
