Senior Project Manager (Public Sector)

Role Overview

Lead and manage public-sector infrastructure projects in Singapore, overseeing project planning, execution and delivery while ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, execution and delivery from project initiation to completion.

• Manage and coordinate clients, consultants, contractors and internal project teams.

• Manage project scope, schedule, cost, resources, risks and changes.

• Liaise with clients and relevant authorities on requirements, approvals and project matters.

• Ensure compliance with PSSCOC, WSH and public sector project guidelines.

• Monitor project progress, cost and contractor performance, providing regular reports and updates.

• Support procurement, tendering and contract administration activities where required.

• Lead project and site coordination meetings and drive timely decision-making.

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior project management team members.

Requirements

• Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline.

• 8–10 years of relevant project management experience, preferably in public-sector or infrastructure projects.

• Valid PSSCOC with good knowledge of WSH and statutory requirements.

• Experience working as a Superintending Officer's Representative (SO Rep) for large‑scale Government or public sector infrastructure projects is highly advantageous

• Strong experience in project planning, cost control, scheduling, risk and stakeholder management.

• Good knowledge of Singapore authority processes and regulatory requirements.

• Strong leadership, communication and coordination skills.

• Experience working on public-sector or government-related projects will be an advantage.

• Able to manage multiple stakeholders and work effectively under tight project timelines.

• Proactive, organized, accountable and able to work independently.
