Job Description & Requirements

Job Summary

Assist in project implementation and maintenance of IT systems by performing routine maintenance, upgrades, incident resolution, and supporting new project setups to ensure system reliability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled routine maintenance activities to ensure system stability and performance
• Execute OS and application upgrades and patching to maintain system security and functionality
• Respond promptly to system or application service and change requests to minimize downtime
• Diagnose and resolve application and technical incidents, collaborating with external support when necessary
• Identify root causes of recurring problems and implement preventive and corrective measures to reduce incident recurrence
• Prepare incident and problem reports for stakeholders in a timely and professional manner
• Assist in preparing system documentation and support ISO audit requirements to maintain compliance
• Participate in new project implementation by gathering requirements, setting up and installing systems, testing, and commissioning

• Diploma or equivalent in Computer/IT with 2-3 years of relevant working experience
• Experience as a System Engineer supporting UNIX/Linux platforms and databases for 2-3 years
• Training or certification in Windows Server, UNIX/Linux, VM, and ITIL is advantageous
• Analytical and proactive in managing multiple tasks and prioritizing work effectively
• Strong teamwork and communication skills in English, with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision
• Motivated with a challenger spirit and leadership potential
• Exceptional troubleshooting and customer-handling skills are advantageous
• Proactive and responsive in managing assigned tasks and incidents with consistent follow-up
