Drafter / CAD Drafter

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Drafter to join our team. The Drafter will be responsible for creating technical drawings, plans, and schematics that accurately convey design concepts and specifications for engineering, architectural, or manufacturing projects. The ideal candidate should have strong technical drawing skills, proficiency in CAD software, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers, architects, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed technical drawings, plans, and schematics from sketches, specifications, or verbal instructions.
• Use CAD software to create accurate 2D drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and designers to understand project requirements and design intent.
• Revise drawings based on feedback, design changes, and quality standards.
• Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, industry codes, and regulations.
• Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
• Assist in preparing documentation for manufacturing, construction, or project execution.
• Perform site measurements and inspections as needed to ensure accuracy of drawings.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Drafter or CAD Technician in relevant industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD).
• Strong understanding of technical drawing standards, symbols, and conventions.
• Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality drawings.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards is a plus.
