ASSISTANT TEACHER - EARLY YEARS/JUNIOR SCHOOL (MATERNITY COVERS)

Dulwich College (Singapore) is seeking Assistant Teachers (Maternity Cover)!

We are looking for enthusiastic and caring Assistant Teachers (Maternity Cover) to support our classroom teachers in either the Early Years School (Kindergarten) or Junior School (Primary/Elementary equivalent).

The successful candidate will have:

• Min GCE ‘O’ Levels;

• A Certificate or Diploma in Education or equivalent, or working towards a relevant qualification;

• A minimum of two years’ experience in a classroom/school setting;

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;

• Demonstrable experience in supporting children’s learning in a stimulating learning environment;

• Have experience as a teacher/assistant teacher to primary students

• Awareness of the importance of using a variety of assessments and observation to assess children’s learning;

• Commitment to supporting all aspects of our programme including extra-curricular activities and contribution to the school community;

• Previous experience in an international school and familiarity with the British education system would be desirable.
