Contract Biotechnologist - GMP exp! #HHL

Duration: 12 months

Location: Kranji

Salary: Up to 4500 + rotating shift allowances

Work Schedule: 3/2/2/3 rotating shifts (Day & Night) 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM / 7:30 PM – 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities:

80% - Production Operations

• Execute routine and critical production tasks per SOPs
• Follow on-the-job training through Competency Assessments
• Record data in Electronic Batch Management (EBM), Master Batch Records (MBRs), and Master Formulation Records (MFRs)
• Operate Process Control System (PCS)
• Maintain accurate logbooks and log-sheets
• Perform basic laboratory tasks (e.g., sampling, pH and conductivity measurements)
• Adhere to aseptic techniques for product and material handling
• Identify and troubleshoot process-related issues
• Document production events in the Global Event Management System (GEMS)
• Propose document revisions and complete required training on time
• Follow all safety protocols and notify management of risks

10% - Equipment & Facility Management

• Perform equipment cleaning and maintenance
• Assist with process equipment assembly and disassembly
• Maintain workplace cleanliness through 5S housekeeping
• Initiate corrective work orders in C3ME or an equivalent system
• Support change-over activities

10% - Staff Training & Development

• Complete and maintain required training
• Develop a personal development plan
• Conduct an annual performance self-assessment

Additional Responsibilities:

• Adhere to EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) requirements
• Uphold Code of Conduct and ethical standards
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

• Min. Degree Holders in Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, or related field
• Has prior GMP experience will be preferred
• Willingness to work holidays and overtime as required
• Flexibility to adjust work schedule based on production demands
