Application Engineer (HSD + Photonics)

Overview

We are looking for an experienced High-Speed Digital & Optical Solutions Engineer to support customers across AI data centre, semiconductor, optical networking and high-speed interconnect technologies.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical expert for high-speed digital, optical communications and signal integrity.
• Support customers on validation and test solutions for 400G/800G/1.6T, SerDes, PCIe, Ethernet, InfiniBand, Silicon Photonics and CXL.
• Perform and advise on jitter, eye diagram, BER, signal integrity and compliance testing.
• Support customer evaluations, POCs, technical demonstrations and design wins.
• Work closely with Sales, Product Management and R&D on customer requirements and market trends.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Photonics, Physics or related field.
• 5+ years in applications engineering, validation, test engineering or solution development.
• Strong knowledge of PAM4, NRZ, SerDes, signal integrity, jitter and BER.
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, DCA, BERT, VNA and optical test equipment.
• Experience with optical transceivers such as QSFP-DD and OSFP.
• Strong customer-facing and technical consulting skills.
• Knowledge of IEEE, OIF, PCI-SIG, JEDEC, Ethernet or CXL standards is preferred.
