Job Description & Requirements

At Assembly Works, we are looking for self-driven and enthusiastic individuals who are looking to gain practical experience and develop their accounting career. At Assembly Works, we are committed to helping our interns build their knowledge and skills by providing them with hands-on exposure to accounting and financial operations. You will have the opportunity to work with clients from various industries and gain experience in a wide range of accounting tasks.

Responsibilities

· Assist with maintaining accounts for a portfolio of clients;

· Assist with month-end closing activities;

· Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting packages;

· Assist with the preparation and compilation of financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards;

· Assist in providing financial management and accounting support;

· Assist with accounting-related matters and resolve basic accounting issues under guidance;

· Assist with accounting system updates, reconciliations and other finance-related tasks;

· Support the team in responding to client enquiries and requests; and

· Undertake ad-hoc assignments as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements

· Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field;

· Committed, meticulous, willing to learn, good time management, proactive and able to work effectively in a team;

· Good verbal and written communication skills;

· Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting;

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
