HR Generalist

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including manpower planning, job posting, candidate sourcing, resume screening, interview coordination, conducting interviews, candidate assessment, reference checks, offer preparation, and onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and deliver effective recruitment solutions aligned with business and project needs.
• Source and attract candidates through job portals, recruitment agencies, social media, networking, and other recruitment channels.
• Conduct candidate interviews, assess qualifications and organisational fit, and provide hiring recommendations to hiring managers.
• Coordinate interview schedules, prepare interview documentation, and facilitate the recruitment and selection process.
• Prepare employment offers, employment contracts, and onboarding documentation in compliance with company policies and Singapore employment regulations..
• Administer Ministry of Manpower (MOM) work pass applications, renewals, cancellations, and related employment matters.
• Maintain a proactive talent pipeline to support current and future hiring requirements.
• Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure a smooth integration of new employees into the organisation.
• Process end-to-end monthly payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
• Maintain payroll records and employee data, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with statutory regulations.
• Manage IR21 Tax Clearance submissions, including preparation, filing, and liaison with the relevant authorities.
• Support the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures.
• Support expatriate employee administration and related matters.
• Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience recruiting for engineering, construction, EPC, manufacturing, or related industries
• Familiarity with Singapore employment legislation, MOM work pass processes, and Fair Consideration Framework (FCF) requirements
• Candidates with short notice or immediate availability are preferred
