Manager, FP&A
plays a key role in supporting the Finance Leadership Team by delivering core FP&A functions, including management reporting, annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and financial performance analysis. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, this position also serves as a strategic Finance Business Partner, collaborating closely with Business Units and Headquarters departments to drive performance management and support organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Management Reporting & Financial Analysis
- Month-End Closing & Reporting: Lead the month-end financial close process and reporting activities, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial results. Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, explain variances, and support Group Management Reporting.
- Business Partnering: Serve as a trusted finance partner to Business Units and departments by providing timely financial performance reports, analysis, and rolling forecasts to support informed decision-making.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the preparation of annual budgeting templates and coordinate the budgeting process with Group Directors and Heads of Centre (HOCs). Support resource planning and financial accountability through comprehensive and accurate budgeting.
- Strategic Support: Partner with the Senior Finance Manager and business stakeholders to evaluate business cases, capital investments, and strategic initiatives.
- Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvements in FP&A processes and leverage technology to enhance efficiency, accuracy, scalability, and reporting capabilities.
2. Treasury & Investment Management
- Coordinate surplus fund management in accordance with investment mandates established by the Investment Committee and executed by appointed External Fund Managers.
- Monitor cash flow requirements and prepare cash flow projections to support treasury operations.
- Serve as the Secretariat to the Finance Investment Committee, providing administrative, coordination, reporting, and governance support.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline. Professional qualifications such as ACCA or CPA are preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive FP&A experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong experience with financial systems and reporting tools such as Oracle NetSuite, Sage 300, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and build effective partnerships across departments.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to anticipate business needs.
- Results-driven with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Demonstrated commitment to process improvement and operational excellence; experience in finance transformation or business process improvement initiatives will be advantageous.
