Senior CAD Drafter (1 year contract)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced CAD professional to support site validation, technical drawing management, and facilities documentation activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting site assessments, maintaining accurate drawing records, validating layout information, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure drawings and documentation remain up to date.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site visits to verify room layouts, equipment locations, and space utilization against existing drawings and records.
• Review, update, and maintain CAD drawings, floor plans, and technical documentation to ensure accuracy and alignment with site conditions.
• Identify drawing discrepancies, perform drawing mark-ups, and coordinate revisions with relevant stakeholders and external vendors where required.
• Carry out site measurements, data collection, and validation activities to support facilities documentation and space-related initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of site findings, drawing revisions, validation reports, and project documentation in an organized manner.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather information, resolve issues, and support the successful delivery of facilities, engineering, or space management projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Building Services, Architecture, Interior Design, Facilities Management, Built Environment, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of CAD drafting experience, preferably involving M&E, industrial, commercial, or interior fit-out projects.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD with the ability to independently review, amend, and validate technical drawings and layout plans.
• Able to work independently, conduct site validation activities, and coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
