Data Centre Specialist (Facilities Management) - SPZW

Job Type: Full-Time Contract (Renewable basis)
Salary: UP to $4500 + AL, Birthday Leave, Medical Benefits, AWS!

• Monitor and maintain data centre and IT infrastructure, including power, cooling, fire suppression systems, and IT systems performance, with regular environmental checks.
• Perform basic troubleshooting, system administration, and support backup, disaster recovery, and incident management activities.
• Manage access control systems, CCTV monitoring, user access, visitor handling, and ensure compliance with physical and IT security policies.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for facility issues, equipment installation, decommissioning, and change management activities.
• Maintain proper cable management, facility organisation, cleanliness, and overall operational readiness.
• Keep accurate documentation and records, including infrastructure and facility logs, asset tracking, operational reports, and maintenance records.

Requirements

• Diploma in Information Technology, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 4 year of relevant working experience in either physical data centre / infrastructure operations (power, cooling, facilities) or IT operations / systems monitoring and support.
• Basic knowledge of data centre infrastructure and/or IT systems monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of incident, change, and service request processes, with the ability to follow SOPs and escalation procedures.
• Detail-oriented with good documentation, communication, and coordination skills, and able to work with vendors and internal stakeholders.
