Laboratory Assistant (Microbiology)

What you'll be doing

• To assist the Microbiologist in achieving Clearlab's Quality Objectives by performing microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, and sterility-related quality control activities.

• To support and conduct quality control testing, monitoring, and analysis associated with microbiological quality and sterility assurance requirements.

• To perform water sampling and testing, bioburden, identification of testing isolates and environmental monitoring.

• To perform microbiological testing on raw materials, finished goods, and in-house samples.

• To carry out supporting activities such as calibration, housekeeping, preventive maintenance, lab supplies, etc. in the lab.

• To perform documentation and ensure accuracy, integrity and reliability of lab data.

• To perform testing and collect data for studies and validation.

• To participate in continual improvement project when required.

• To assist and be involve during audit activity.

• To maintain and keep tracking inventory record for consumables.
  

What we're looking for

• Minimum N Levels

• At least 1 year of experience working in a laboratory environment, ideally in a microbiology setting

• Proficient in aseptic technique

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording data and following protocols

• Excellent organisational and time management skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team whilst maintaining focus on individual responsibilities

• Strong communication skills and willingness to follow instructions and seek clarification when needed

• Fluent in English, verbal and written
