Digital Media Strategist

Role Purpose
The Digital Media Strategist supports the planning, development, coordination and improvement of digital media content and campaign initiatives. The role translates client and business requirements into practical content directions, works with relevant teams through development and delivery, and uses suitable tools and work processes to support quality, consistency and effective execution.
Key responsibilities
· Digital campaign brief interpretation and content strategy. Interpret client briefs, campaign objectives, audience needs, brand guidelines and delivery requirements; contribute to appropriate digital content strategies and creative directions.
· Audience and cross-platform content planning. Plan content themes, messaging, formats and adaptations forrelevant channels, placements and audience contexts.
· AI-assisted content development and curation. Use appropriate creative, digital and AI-assisted tools andplatforms where suitable to develop, compare, refine and validate concepts andcontent variations.
· Revision, asset and workflow governance. Coordinate feedback, revisions, digital assets, contentversions, approvals and handovers using suitable work processes and systems.
· Campaign review and optimisation. Review available client, account-team or platforminformation and relevant campaign indicators; identify content patterns andrecommend practical improvements.
· Stakeholder coordination and capability transfer. Work with account, creative, production and post-production teams; present recommendations, share effective work practices and support smooth project delivery.
· Other responsibilities. Undertake related digital media, creative production, project coordination and operational duties reasonably assigned by the Company in support of business and client requirements.
Key deliverables may include
· Structured campaign and digital content strategy briefs
· Audience, channel and cross-platform content plans
· Curated content concepts and platform-specific variations
· Feedback, revision, asset and approval records
· Campaign/content review and optimization recommendations
· Workflow SOPs, playbooks and team-guidance materials
Role requirements
· Relevant qualification in multimedia design, digital media, communications, marketing or a related discipline.
· Strong foundation in creative production, visual storytelling, post-production or content development.
· Ability and willingness to acquire new competencies in digital campaign strategy, audience/channel planning, campaign review and AI-assisted content and workflow practices through the structured OJT plan.
· Strong communication, judgement, organization and cross-functional coordination skills.
· Working knowledge of creative software is useful. Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools, digital platforms or workflow systems is advantageous but not essential.
