Backend Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails, iGaming)

• Design, enhance, and support software solutions for digital entertainment platforms, ensuring smooth functionality and user engagement.
• Build and integrate application features, APIs, and supporting services using a combination of modern programming languages and development frameworks.
• Maintain source repositories, perform code integration activities, and contribute to software quality through testing and continuous improvements.
• Manage data storage solutions across various database environments, ensuring system performance, integrity, and scalability.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver new features, resolve technical issues, and improve overall product capabilities.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails in a commercial development environment.
• Proficient in web application development using Ruby on Rails and/or Microsoft technology stacks.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, Python, source control practices, and dependency management tools.
• Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases, including data modelling and query optimisation concepts.
