Assistant Relationship Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) to join our growing wealth management team. This position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of wealth management, equity research, and AI-driven innovation.
The role suits individuals with strong communication skills, a passion for investments, and an interest in wealth management, equity research, and emerging AI technologies. In addition to supporting client servicing activities, the successful candidate will have opportunities to develop knowledge and experience in business valuation, portfolio construction, and AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Relationship Managers in delivering a high-quality client experience.
- Assist with portfolio reviews, account administration, client onboarding, documentation, and other client servicing matters.
- Prepare investment presentations, market updates, portfolio reports, and client materials for review by the Relationship Manager.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external counterparties to facilitate the accurate and timely execution of client requests.
- Participate in equity research, including company analysis, financial modelling, valuation, and intrinsic-value assessments.
- Support portfolio construction, asset allocation, and investment discussions under the guidance of the Relationship Manager and Portfolio Manager.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of agentic workflows and AI solutions to improve productivity, research processes, and client engagement.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail in all client interactions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Demonstrated interest in investments, capital markets, and wealth management.
- Willingness and aptitude to learn:
- Equity valuation methodologies, including discounted cash flow, comparable-company, and intrinsic-value analysis;
- financial statement analysis;
- portfolio construction and risk management; and
- AI and agentic technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Python, AI tools, or automation platforms would be advantageous.
- A proactive and self-directed approach, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Ability and willingness to meet any applicable regulatory, competency, examination, fit-and-proper, and internal approval requirements relevant to the role.
Preferred Attributes
> Prior experience in private banking, wealth management, equity research, investment management, or financial services would be advantageous.
> Familiarity with technical analysis and established investment frameworks would be an advantage.
> Comfortable working in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
> Demonstrates initiative, intellectual curiosity, sound judgement, and a long-term commitment to personal and professional development.
