As we scale our business, we are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager to build our client base and drive new business revenue.

This is a hunter role. Your primary responsibility is to identify companies with foreign manpower requirements, engage decision-makers, secure vacancies, and convert them into long-term clients.

The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will develop new business opportunities and build a portfolio of Singapore employers who need foreign manpower.

You will work closely with our recruitment and overseas sourcing teams to understand client requirements, recommend appropriate sourcing markets and deliver manpower solutions.

Your success will be measured primarily by your ability to:

Find employers → create demand → secure vacancies → convert new clients → generate placements → develop recurring accounts.

You will not be expected to personally source candidates. Your role is to win the client and create the demand, while our recruitment team manages candidate sourcing, screening, and deployment.

Job Description

• Identify and develop new business opportunities among Singapore employers.

• Build and maintain a strong prospect pipeline.

• Conduct daily outbound prospecting through cold calls, LinkedIn, email, WhatsApp and other channels.

• Identify and engage business owners, HR Directors, HR Managers, Operations Managers and other hiring decision makers.

• Arrange and conduct face-to-face and virtual meetings with prospective clients.

• Introduce the company's foreign workforce recruitment solutions.

• Develop new client accounts from prospecting through to conversion.

• Reconnect with dormant or previously inactive accounts where appropriate.

• Develop referral and business networking opportunities.

• Attend industry events, networking sessions and business associations to generate new leads.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of B2B sales/business development experience.
• Demonstrated experience in acquiring new clients.
• Strong cold-calling and prospecting ability.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Good negotiation and closing skills.
• Comfortable conducting face-to-face client meetings.
• Strong follow-up discipline.
• Target-oriented and commercially driven.
• Good understanding of the Singapore business environment.
• Comfortable using CRM systems, LinkedIn, email and digital sales tools
