Trained Teacher (Special Education) - APSN Tanglin School (Ang Mo Kio)

Job Purpose:

• Responsible for planning and delivering quality, student-centered instruction for learners with special needs, supporting their academic, social and functional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver individualized and group instructional programs for students with special needs

• Adapt teaching strategies and materials to meet diverse learning and developmental needs

• Create a safe, structured and supportive learning environment

• Monitor, assess and document students' progress and development

• Collaborate with parents, caregivers and multidisciplinary professionals to support students' holistic growth

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree or equivalent

• Candidates with recognized Diploma in Special Education, Diploma / Degree in Education or Post Graduate Diploma in Education is a MUST.

• Prior experience with Students with Mid Intellectual Disabilities (MID) is preferred

• Prior experience handling Numeracy/ Literacy, Physical Education, WPLN, Science, HSR, SEL/ CCE and Vocational Guidance is an added advantage.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
