Job Description

• Position Title: Production Technician / Day Technician
• Working Location: Tuas
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, (7.30am – 4.30pm / 8.00am – 5.00pm)
• Salary Package: Basic + Site Allowance + OT Pay + AWS + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Unload bulk raw materials into storage tanks safely.
• Carry out waste-management activities, including wastewater loading and coordinating waste collection.
• Collect water samples for laboratory testing and clearance.
• Monitor and record utility operating parameters.
• Operate a forklift to transport materials.
• Handle chemicals, equipment, tools, and materials according to safety procedures.
• Perform basic equipment care, housekeeping, and maintenance while maintaining 5S standards.
• Prepare finished-goods totes for dispatch, including labelling when required.
• Escort contractors performing landscaping, pest-control, or fire-protection services in controlled areas.
• Participate in the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT).
• Support continuous improvement, safety inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, and other HSE activities.
• Complete other duties as required.

• GCE N/O/A Level, NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
• Valid forklift driving licence is required.
• Hands-on manufacturing or plant-operations experience is essential.
• Able to safely handle hazardous chemicals and wear respiratory protective equipment when required.
• Basic computer knowledge; familiarity with Microsoft Office is advantageous.
• Safety-conscious, quality-minded, hands-on, and able to work well in a team.
• Knowledge of workplace safety, quality, environmental, logistics, or maintenance practices is advantageous.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SS651, cGMP, or microbial-control practices is advantageous.
• HAZMAT, firefighting, incident-management, or CERT competency is advantageous.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends when operationally required.
