Compliance Analyst - Digital Asset Exchange

Recruit123 is inviting qualified Compliance Analysts for licensed and applicant Digital Payment Token (DPT) exchanges and digital asset institutions in Singapore.

In this role, you will execute day-to-day AML/CFT operations, conduct on-chain and fiat transaction monitoring, and support compliance with Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) on institutional, corporate, and high-net-worth retail accounts.

• Execute real-time blockchain analytics and on-chain transaction monitoring using forensic tools (e.g., Chainalysis, Elliptic, TRM Labs) to identify illicit fund flows, mixers, and sanctions exposure.

• Conduct sanctions screening, PEP checks, and adverse media investigations, documenting rationales for false positive dismissals or risk escalations.

• Draft, review, and lodge Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) with the Suspicious Transaction Reporting Office (STRO) in compliance with local mandates.

• Ensure operational adherence to the Singapore Payment Services Act (PS Act), MAS Notice PSN02, and FATF Travel Rule requirements.

• Assist in internal compliance testing, regulatory return filings, enterprise-wide risk assessments, and external audit preparations.

• Partner with product, operations, and customer support teams to resolve onboarding escalations and refine AML workflow automation.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Law, Business, Finance, Criminal Justice, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 2 to 5 years of direct experience in AML/CFT, KYC/CDD, or transaction monitoring within a digital asset exchange, fintech, payment service provider, or financial institution.

• Practical familiarity with the Singapore Payment Services Act (PS Act), MAS Notice PSN02, and international AML/CFT standards.

• Hands-on experience with on-chain tracing tools (e.g., Chainalysis KYT/Reactor, Elliptic Navigator, TRM Labs) is strongly preferred.

• Industry certifications are an added advantage (e.g., ACAMS CAMS, ICA, Chainalysis CCPA/CRC).

• Strong investigative mindset, high attention to detail, and objective risk evaluation capabilities.
