Customer Quality Manager (Semiconductor) - VTAL

Our client is one of the leading players in the Contract Manufacturing sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Customer Quality Manager to be part of their Quality team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the East – easily accessible.

Job Responsibilities of Customer Quality Manager:

Customer Quality Management

• Lead and develop a team of Customer Quality Engineers and Outgoing Quality Inspectors.
• Act as the primary quality contact for key customers, managing customer quality expectations and requirements.
• Monitor customer quality performance, including defects, complaints, returns, escapes, and quality KPIs.
• Lead customer complaint investigations and drive effective root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive actions.
• Coordinate 8D, CAPA, and structured problem-solving activities with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure customer-specific quality requirements are clearly understood, implemented, and maintained.
• Review and approve customer quality reports, corrective action responses, inspection results, and related documentation.

Outgoing Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Oversee outgoing quality inspection to ensure products meet customer specifications and acceptance criteria before shipment.
• Establish and monitor quality KPIs, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to prevent recurring quality issues and improve process capability.
• Participate in customer audits, quality reviews, business reviews, and NPI activities as required.
• Promote a strong customer-focused quality culture across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with applicable quality management systems, customer requirements, and company procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Electronics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in customer quality, quality management, manufacturing quality, or a related field.
• Experience in EMS, electronics, contract manufacturing, or high-volume manufacturing is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of QMS, 8D, CAPA, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
