Our client is one of the leading players in the medical devices manufacturing sector. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Finance Manager to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the East area.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall finance and accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial information for the business.
  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans in collaboration with various business functions.
  • Review financial results and provide insights on business performance, key variances, revenue, and cost movements.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business planning, profitability, cost management, and operational decisions.
  • Work closely with department heads and internal stakeholders to monitor financial performance and address key business issues.
  • Oversee monthly and annual closing activities, management reporting, consolidation, and balance sheet analysis.
  • Prepare financial reports and analysis for management and other stakeholders to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Manage inventory accounting, product costing, stock provisions, cash flow, and working capital matters.
  • Coordinate statutory audits, tax matters, regulatory submissions, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting requirements.
  • Supervise and guide a small finance team across general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions.
  • Drive improvements in finance processes, internal controls, reporting tools, and accounting systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support the Financial Controller on group reporting, finance projects, and other business initiatives as required.

Requirements:

  • Min Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Min 7 years of relevant finance and accounting experience
  • Good understanding of inventory accounting, costing, cash flow, internal controls, audit, and statutory compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across different departments.
