Senior Executive - Events & Programmes

Job Summary
The Senior Executive will coordinate events from planning to execution, manage publicity efforts and support the operational needs of the Recreation Centre.
This is a contract position with a contract period of six months to one year.
Key Responsibilities
1. Programme Planning &Coordination
- Conceptualise and organise recreational, educational and wellness programmes.
- Coordinate with community partners, NGOs and volunteers on event logistics and implementation.
- Ensure all programmes are well-documented, evaluated and aligned with engagement objectives.
2. Event Marketing &Publicity
- Prepare and distribute event publicity materials (e.g. posters, digital content).
- Promote activities through social media and community channels to maximise participation.
- Assist in capturing photos, videos and success stories for reporting.
3. Operational Support
- Assist in venue setup and coordination during events.
- Support daily centre operations, including visitor assistance and activity scheduling.
4. Partnership & Volunteer Management
- Liaise with external partners to co-organise programmes.
- Recruit, brief and manage volunteers for community activities.
5. Reporting &Administration
- Maintain programme databases and attendance records.
- Prepare post-event reports and expenditure summaries.
- Support procurement and documentation processes.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in event management, community engagement or recreation-related roles.
Skills & Competencies:
- Creative, energetic and detail-oriented.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic design tools (e.g. Canva) preferred.
- Comfortable working evenings and weekends for events.
