*Entry Level* 12 Months Research Assistant (Education Sector) - Up to $4K #NJN

Location: Kent Ridge
Working Hours: 7.45am to 6.15pm on Mon, Tue, Thu and Fri; and 7.45am to 3.15pm on alternate Sat

Job Scope

• Obtain consent from research participants.
• Perform health assessments including anthropometry and blood pressure measurement when necessary.
• (Upon completion of training) Perform bone densitometry and whole body composition scans on 20 participants per health screening session, keeping to the turnaround time per participant for that procedure.
• Review images and perform data entry accurately, noting any observation of anomalies. Flag anomalies on the scan images to the radiologist for determination of clinical significance.
• Analyse scans to derive the bone density and body composition accurately, and upload to the research database.
• Perform regular quality control and calibration procedures and maintenance of equipment.
• Update the inventory of consumables.
• Ensure the safety and protect the privacy of research participants by adhering to best practices. Reporting of incidents, complaints or adverse events.

Job Requirement:

• Minimum Diploma/ Degree/ Master in Biomedical Sciences or related fields
• Has at least 1 year experience as a technologist in an X-ray facility is preferred
• Entry level candidates welcomed to apply as training is provided
