Patient Service Officers (Hospital)

Overview of the Role: Be a part of our dynamic team to manage patients’ portfolio to ensure they are well taken care of from admission to discharge at our hospitals.

Work Location: Parkway East Hospital, Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital

Responsible for rendering excellent services and care to our patients and next of kin, upholding our company’s vision as the most trusted healthcare provider in the region. Responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Ensure accurate documentation for patients admission
• Follow closely on bill size to ensure existing insurance coverage is sufficient
• Engage with respective departments and doctors to provide relevant information and documents
• Liaise with patients / payers for outstanding bills
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum N / O level / NITEC / Diploma
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel)

Qualities required for this role include:

• Customer service oriented and good team player
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Open to shift work arrangement and to work on weekdays, weekends and PHs
• Meticulous and comfortable with numbers
• Working experience in customer service
