Contracts Manager (5yrs exp / Senior Quantity Surveyor / Civil Construction Exp / Immediate / Short Notice)

Key Responsibilities

• Partner directly with the Managing Director toformulate strategic responses for local and international RFQs, spearheadingthe entire pre-tender documentation process through to the successful award ofcontracts.
• Draft, evaluate, and execute comprehensivecontract documents, rigorously reviewing commercial terms with external clientsand sub-contractors to safeguard organizational interests.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers tofacilitate accurate monthly progress claims, systematically track variationorders (VOs), and lead final account negotiations with main contractors andclient Quantity Surveyors.
• Formulate detailed project budgets and cash flowprojections in tandem with the financial control team, proactively monitoringexpenditure and cost histories to drive budget optimization.
• Drive the negotiation and awarding ofsub-contractor packages, meticulously analyzing project scopes alongsidearchitectural and shop drawings for effective commercial administration.
• Participate actively in critical site meetings,providing ongoing commercial and financial guidance to site engineers andproject stakeholders to ensure alignment with contractual obligations.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of dedicated professionalexperience in civil works, with a strong foundational background in quantity surveying or complex contract administration.
• Mandatory technical proficiency inindustry-standard scheduling and drafting software, specifically encompassing AutoCAD, Primavera, and MS Project.
• Exceptional analytical and negotiation capabilities, coupled with the leadership acumen to manage high-valu ecommercial portfolios independently.
• Capability to commence employment on animmediate basis or within a very short notice period to accommodate urgent project deployments.
