Sales Engineer – Repair/Replacement OR Modernisation

Salary: S$3,600 – S$4,400 Basic + Variable Bonus + AWS
Commission: No Commission!!!
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Location: Kaki Bukit Crescent / Project Sites
Working Days: 5 days per week

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join one of two specialised teams:

🔧 Repair / Replacement – Service Contracts

Focus on repair, replacement and service-related solutions, working with customers to identify equipment issues and recommend suitable solutions to improve the reliability, safety and performance of their elevator and escalator systems.

⚙️ Modernisation – Partial / Full Replacement

Focus on modernisation projects, including partial and full replacement of existing elevator and escalator systems. You will assess existing equipment, understand customer requirements and develop suitable modernisation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable repair, replacement or modernisation solutions.

• Conduct site visits and equipment assessments.

• Prepare quotations, cost estimates and sales proposals.

• Present solutions to customers and follow up on sales opportunities.

• Work with engineering and technical teams to develop suitable solutions.

• Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers and contractors to support project execution.

• Maintain good relationships with building owners, managing agents, property managers and consultants.

• Identify new sales opportunities and develop existing customer accounts.

• Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally.

• Track quotations, orders and project progress.

• Maintain accurate sales and customer records.

• Ensure proposed solutions meet technical, safety and company requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Sales & Marketing

• Min 2 years in technical sales, sales engineering in the lift/elevator, escalator, building services.

• Experience with SAP / ERP systems is an advantage.
