Production Supervisor (Tai Seng) (12-hour shift) #NJH

Position Summary

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating daily shop floor operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing performance. Working closely with Engineering, this role drives the resolution of technical production issues, supports process improvements, and oversees First Article builds to ensure successful product introduction and assembly. The incumbent will provide hands-on leadership, coaching and mentoring Production Leads and assembly teams while fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, continuous improvement, and operational excellence to meet production, quality, and delivery objectives.

Job Responsibilities

• Assign tasks, schedule shifts, and oversee daily assembly and testing to hit output deadlines and quality standards.

• Work with Engineering to troubleshoot daily production issues, review initial builds (FA), and streamline assembly workflows.

• Train, guide, and support team members and Production Leads to foster skill development and high performance.

• Enforce safety protocols, inspect shop floor areas, and report equipment maintenance needs promptly.

• Coordinate material needs with supply chain teams, maintain operational records, and perform other duties as assigned by your Superior/Manager

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent practical experience).

• Proven ability to train, mentor, and build strong working relationships with shop floor teams.

• Experience troubleshooting assembly issues alongside cross-functional engineering and quality teams to implement corrective actions.

• Demonstrated ability to organize schedules, track inventory flow, and analyze performance metrics to drive productivity.

• High reliability, strong time management, and adaptability to changing production priorities.

• Committed to maintaining a clean, safe, positive, and inclusive workplace.
