Job Description
- Chemically clean parts, often engine components, to remove coatings, rust, paint, carbon, and grease before inspection or repair (like FPI).
- Follow specific operation sheets, manuals, and SPOP (Standard Process Operating Procedure) specifications for each job.
- Add chemicals to tanks, monitor solution concentrations (pH, temperature), test solutions, and manage waste, ensuring material reactivity knowledge.
- Operate and monitor cleaning line equipment, pumps, filters, and tanks, assisting maintenance as needed.
- Verify part numbers, check for correct processes, identify faulty operations, and maintain meticulous records/paperwork.
- Wear protective gear (gloves, masks, suits) and maintain a clean, safe work area.
Requirements
- Min GCE ‘O’ level and above
- Min 1 year of experience in Aerospace / Manufacturing Industry
