About this job
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain Project Quality Management System (QMS).
- Prepare and review Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements, and quality procedures.
- Ensure compliance with client specifications, ISO standards, MOM requirements, SS standards, and project contractual obligations.
- Lead quality audits, internal inspections, and vendor assessments.
- Monitor all site construction activities.
- Ensure inspections and tests are conducted according to approved ITPs and procedures.
- Coordinate with construction, engineering, and client representatives on quality-related matters.
- Review and approve quality records, inspection reports, test reports, and turnover dossiers.
- Ensure proper documentation for inspection.
- Lead investigation and resolution of NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).
- Monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement improvement actions.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, third-party inspectors, and relevant authorities regarding QA/QC matters.
- Attend project meetings, inspections, audits, and quality reviews.
- Support project handover, commissioning, and final documentation submission.
- Lead and supervise QA/QC engineers, inspectors, coordinators, and subcontractors.
- Provide technical guidance and training to project teams on quality standards and procedures.
- Promote continuous improvement and quality awareness across project teams.
- Standard Compliance: Executing comprehensive piping and structural inspections in strict accordance with ADNOC Standards, ASME B31.3, and ASME Section IX.
- Technical Surveillance: Managing stage-wise witness and final approval for fit-ups, dimensional alignment, and visual weld profiles,Line walk down, Hydro test witness.
- Welding Engineering: Witnessing and approving WPS, PQR, and WPQ; maintaining rigorous control over electrode baking, storage, and issuance.
- NDT Coordination: Supervising and interpreting results for RT, PT, and UT activities to ensure zero-defect project delivery.
