Optics Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment)

• Design, develop, and optimize optical and illumination systems to support semiconductor manufacturing and inspection applications.
• Investigate and resolve optical performance issues through testing, analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate existing vision and imaging systems, recommending enhancements to improve accuracy, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate optical solutions, validate system performance, and support new product development.

Requirements:

• Degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, Photonics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in optical engineering, vision systems, illumination design, or semiconductor industries.
• Proficient in optical design software, optical alignment, optical testing, and 2D CAD drafting.
• Knowledge of high-magnification optics, LED illumination systems, lens specifications, optical design trade-offs, and basic optical modeling techniques.
