Safety officer (6-Month / Construction/ Cleanroom Projects)

• Position: Safety officer (6-Month / Construction/ Cleanroom Projects)

• Location: Mapletree Hi-Tech Park @ Kallang Way

• Working hours: 5.5-day work week, office hours

• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $6000

• Duration: Employment Type: 6-month contract -Convertible to permanent employment or extendable based on work performance

• Industry: Construction / Cleanroom Engineering

Main Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain WSH policies, procedures, records and documentation.

• Ensure project site compliance with WSH regulations, company rules and safe work practices.

• Conduct site inspections, safety briefings, orientations and toolbox meetings.

• Identify workplace risks and ensure risk assessments and control measures are in place.

• Lead safety coordination with subcontractors and site teams.

• Assist in safety audits and investigate incidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences.

• Monitor safety performance, trends and improvement actions.

• Organise safety training, awareness programmes and mandatory safety initiatives.

• Liaise with authorities, clients, consultants and internal teams on WSH matters.

• Coordinate WSH meetings, audits and inspections, including minutes and follow-up actions.

Requirements:

• Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer will be advantageous.

• Relevant experience in construction, cleanroom, M&E or engineering project safety.

• Familiar with WSH Act, WSH regulations and site safety requirements.

• Experience in risk assessment, incident investigation and safety documentation.

• Able to conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings and site inspections.

• Good communication and coordination skills with site teams, subcontractors and clients.

• Organised, detail-oriented and able to follow up on corrective actions.
