Qualified Site Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Provide full-time site supervision for transmission equipment installation works.
• Supervise GIS, transformer, relay installation, testing and commissioning activities.
• Monitor heavy lifting, work-at-height, gas/oil circulation and equipment mobilisation activities.
• Ensure contractors comply with the Workplace Safety and Health Act, project safety requirements and applicable regulations.
• Review Method Statements, Safe Work Procedures and Risk Assessments before commencement of works.
• Conduct Toolbox Meetings and monitor daily site activities.
• Verify workers' safety passes, WAH passes, lifting certificates and other required documentation.
• Identify and report safety lapses, incidents, near misses and non-compliance.
• Prepare site records, checklists and weekly site management/safety reports.
• Attend project and progress meetings as required.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering or other relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in projects of a similar nature.
• Valid Supervisor Construction Work in Workplace Safety and Health certification.
• Good knowledge of electrical/substation installation and site safety requirements.
• Able to work independently and provide full-time site supervision.
• Able to travel to multiple location island-wide, including Jurong Island.
• Must be able to support day/night works, Sundays and Public Holidays when required.
