Sales Manager

• Position: Sales Manager

• Location: Pasir Panjang (walking distance from Pasir Panjang MRT)

• Working hours: Monday to Friday (8:30am - 5:30pm)

• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $8,000 Monthly Basic Salary + Transport Allowance + Performance Bonus + Medical Benefits

• Duration: Permanent

• Industry: Food products supplier

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets.

• Lead, coach and develop the sales team to improve performance and target achievement.

• Manage key customer relationships, contract negotiations and major sales opportunities.

• Monitor sales KPIs, market trends and competitor activities and implement appropriate commercial actions.

• Identify new business opportunities, customer segments and growth areas.

• Prepare sales forecasts, budgets and management reports.

• Manage day-to-day sales operations and ensure effective execution of sales plans.

• Work closely with Marketing, Product, Purchasing and Operations on campaigns, product launches, inventory availability and fulfilment.

• Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve major account or service issues.

• Manage sales expenditure and resources within approved budgets.

• Provide market, customer and competitor insights to senior management.

• Ensure sales activities comply with company policies and applicable requirements.

• Maintain accurate sales, customer and transaction records.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related discipline.

• At least five years of relevant sales experience, including at least two years in FMCG, food products or a similar consumer-goods environment.

• Proven experience leading and developing a sales team.

• Strong key-account management, negotiation and sales-closing capabilities.

• Experience in sales forecasting, budgeting and performance reporting.

• Strong analytical and commercial decision-making skills.

• Familiarity with modern trade, distributors or major retail accounts would be advantageous.
