The Scope
The Breakfast Supervisor will lead our breakfast operations and deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will oversee the daily breakfast service, supervise the team, and ensure smooth and efficient operations while maintaining the highest service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily breakfast operations to ensure excellent guest satisfaction.
- Lead, motivate, and support the breakfast service team, including Captains, Commis, and casual staff.
- Ensure team members maintain professional grooming, appearance, and service standards.
- Welcome and engage with guests, ensuring a warm and memorable dining experience.
- Monitor guest flow, table allocation, and restaurant set-up for efficient operations.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure food quality, presentation, and availability meet hotel standards.
- Handle guest enquiries, feedback, and special requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Verify breakfast entitlements, process guest payments, and ensure accurate POS transactions.
- Ensure compliance with cashiering procedures, stock control measures, and hotel policies.
- Complete operational reports and provide effective shift handovers.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized restaurant environment.
Experience:
- Two to four years of working experience, including experience in a supervisory role.
- Previous experience in hotel breakfast or high-volume restaurant operations is preferred.
- Knowledge of religious dietary requirements and applicable Singapore laws required.
- Knowledge of service and kitchen production flow in accordance with applicable Singapore standards required.

- Guest-focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, committed to delivering exceptional service and exceeding guest expectations.
- Good knowledge of Food & Beverage and restaurant operations, including breakfast service, service standards, cost control, labour management, merchandising, and basic accounting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems, with strong numerical skills and the ability to analyse operational performance metrics.
- Adaptable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and public holidays, with prior hotel or restaurant supervisory experience preferred.
