Job Description

• Partner closely with business leaders on strategic initiatives, including infrastructure development projects, technology investments, financing transactions and corporate activities.
• Provide practical and commercially focused legal advice, supporting decision-making while balancing risk and business objectives.
• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of agreements covering project development, financing arrangements, procurement, technology services, infrastructure partnerships and other commercial matters.
• Support investment activities, joint ventures, acquisitions and other growth opportunities across regional markets.
• Contribute to risk management frameworks, governance processes and business strategies to enable sustainable commercial growth.
• Advise stakeholders on new business models, evolving regulatory considerations and expansion into emerging markets.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Legal Counsel should have:

• Qualified lawyer with a recognised law degree and substantial post-qualification experience.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in corporate transactions, infrastructure projects, financing, investments and/or mergers and acquisitions.
• Familiar with procurement and enterprise contracts.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and advisory skills with the ability to manage complex commercial matters.
• Commercially minded individual with excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
• Interest in digital infrastructure, cloud technologies, AI-related developments and emerging growth sectors.ms.
