Full-Stack Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to design, develop and maintain modern web applications and internal developer platforms. The role will involve working across frontend and backend development, API integrations, platform tooling and DevOps workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain scalable full-stack applications and platform solutions.
• Develop and enhance Backstage-based developer portals, including software catalogues, templates and plugins.
• Build backend services and REST APIs using Java, Spring Boot and related technologies.
• Develop modern frontend applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as React, Vue or Angular.
• Integrate applications and developer platforms with CI/CD, source control, monitoring and other enterprise tools.
• Work with containerised environments using Docker, Kubernetes and/or OpenShift.
• Participate in application design, code reviews, testing, deployment, troubleshooting and production support.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, security and infrastructure teams throughout the SDLC.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in full-stack software development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java/Spring Boot and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with a modern frontend framework such as React, Vue or Angular.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Backstage, including developer portals, plugins, software catalogues or scaffolding/templates.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Good understanding of Agile development, application security and software engineering practices.
