We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Project and Programme Management.
In this role you will:
- Lead project communications for the GTS scope, including drafting and managing delivery of updates, ensuring messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned to governance expectations.
- Own programme MI and performance reporting, including building and maintaining dashboards and packs covering milestones, delivery status, risks/issues/dependencies, actions, and benefits tracking; provide a crisp narrative on trends, drivers, and required decisions.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement and operating rhythm, including meeting cadence, agendas, minutes, actions tracking, and follow-ups across Business, Operations, Technology, Risk, Finance and Compliance stakeholders.
- Support governance and decision-making forums, preparing materials (papers, slide decks, readouts), consolidating inputs across workstreams, and ensuring timely circulation and closure of actions.
- Maintain RAID and delivery controls hygiene, ensuring risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and decisions are logged to required standards, regularly reviewed, and escalated appropriately.
- Enable effective cross-workstream coordination, identifying gaps, clashes, and bottlenecks early and working with owners to unblock progress.
- Support financial and resource tracking (where required), including consolidation of forecasts, actuals, and variances for GTS scope, working with the Delivery Lead/Finance partners.
- Drive consistency and quality across artefacts, ensuring communications, reporting, and governance materials are audit-ready, version-controlled, and aligned to agreed templates/taxonomy.
To be successful you will need:
- Experience in MI/reporting, and stakeholder management within complex, cross-functional change initiatives.
- Proven ability to produce decision-grade materials for senior stakeholders (clear narrative, options, trade-offs, actions, and escalation points).
- Strong capability in data handling and reporting, with attention to detail and control.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating multi-stakeholder delivery rhythms (cadence, actions, minutes, RAID discipline) across multiple teams and locations.
- Strong planning and organisational skills; able to manage competing priorities at pace while maintaining high quality.
- Familiarity with HSBC governance and ways of working.Experience within GTS/Trade or adjacent banking transformation initiatives.
- Exposure to operating model change and/or technology-enabled transformation.
