What you'll be doing:

As a Technical Lead, you'll play a key role in designing, building and scaling our enterprise SaaS platform.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading an engineering squad, providing technical direction, driving delivery, and helping the team make sound engineering decisions while maintaining a high bar for code quality and execution.
• Designing, developing and maintaining full-stack web applications using TypeScript, React.js, Node.js and NestJS.
• Building responsive, scalable and maintainable user interfaces across our micro-frontend architecture (Module Federation) and Next.js App Router applications.
• Designing and implementing RESTful APIs, working contract-first from OpenAPI specifications and technical design documentation.
• Designing database schemas and optimising queries using PostgreSQL, while managing asynchronous workloads with Redis and message queues.
• Delivering product features end-to-end — from technical design and implementation through testing and production deployment.
• Writing unit, integration and end-to-end tests (Jest & Playwright) while actively participating in code reviews.
• Troubleshooting production issues and continuously improving application performance, reliability and maintainability.
• Working with applications deployed on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes.
• Contributing to GitLab development workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborating closely with Product Managers, Designers, QA Engineers and distributed engineering teams.
• Exploring opportunities to integrate AI-powered capabilities and AI agents into our platform.

What will help you succeed in this role:

• At least 8-10 years of professional experience in full-stack or software engineering.
• Experience in leading or providing technical direction to an engineering squad, including guiding technical decisions, supporting engineers, and driving delivery.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience building modern frontend applications using React.js.
• Experience building backend services with Node.js, NestJS, Express.js, or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation, with experience working against API specifications and contracts.
• Solid experience with relational databases, SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Good understanding of software design principles, clean code and scalable architecture.
• Experience working with Git-based development workflows.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills.
• The ability to balance hands-on technical contribution with squad leadership while collaborating effectively across distributed and cross-functional teams.
