General Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage business plans to achieve short and long-term goals as management of the company.
• Oversee and be responsible for the company’s sales activities and planning of long-term marketing and business development.
• Oversee business operations (including logistics and procurement), administration, HR, Finance and other commercial-related department activities.
• Regularly report management status and propose business strategy to the HQ in Japan.
• Represent the company during the MGC group meetings and work with other sister companies for strategy alignment as a group.
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned by HQ in Japan.

Requirement

• Minimum Education requirement – bachelor’s degree in business/politics/law/commercial/market
• More than 10 years of extensive experience in Hydrogen Peroxide or its derivatives sales/marketing, including minimum 3years of semiconductor grade business within the most recent 5 years, with vast experience and knowledge in the semiconductor market trend, customer requirements on process chemical such as SPC control at minimum, and overseas dangerous goods transactions and transportations.
• More than 2 years of administrative experience in HR, Finance, Administration.
• Japanese language (JLPT N1 &above or relevant skill). This position requires extensive Japanese language skills to communicate with management from different departments (such as HR, Finance, IR, Sales, Strategic Planning, Engineering, Internal Audit) in HQ, Japan, whose company official language is Japanese. Attendance to group meetings with the sister companies in the same business unit, which are conducted in Japanese language. Report management status and occasionally propose investments to the BOD of HQ by preparing documents and attending the BOD meeting, all using Japanese language.
• Strong leadership, people management skills, positive attitude, and resilience to high pressure.
