Senior Process Engineer, Backfinish (JR13658)

Your role:

We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer with strong expertise in metallization or backfinish operations to support and improve key semiconductor manufacturing processes. The role focuses on process stability, yield improvement, problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure robust operational performance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and optimize metallization or backfinish process performance.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
• Troubleshoot process issues and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Improve yield, quality, cycle time, and cost through data-driven actions.
• Support process qualifications, changes, and technology transfers.
• Work with equipment, production, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve issues.
• Analyze process data, trends, and capability to identify opportunities.
• Support ramp-up, validation, and implementation of new products or changes.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and stakeholder updates.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and manufacturing standards.

Your skills and experiences:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Materials Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, with strong exposure to metallization, backfinish, or related process areas.
• Strong process troubleshooting, statistical analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of semiconductor manufacturing and process control.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-functional environment.
